After being called out by Ms. Etta James, there was no sighting of Beyonce. She was confirmed to walk the red carpet at 51st Annual Grammy Awards. But, Mrs. Carter was a no show. Instead of Beyonce coming to watch her husband Swagga Like Us performance, Solange was there in Bey's place. Did Beyonce avoid the red carpet because she was not ready to answer any questions about Etta's comments.

Beyonce, also made an appearance at Kelly Rowland's Surprise Birthday Party, in Hollywood CA, at The Opera on February 10, 2009. Bey walked the red carpet with her Destiny Child group members birthday girl Kelly and Michelle Williams.
